RFG Infrastructure Group

The RFG Infrastructure Group meets quarterly. It is open to and comprises RFG members and Network Rail and provides the opportunity to get the inside track on the latest developments affecting rail infrastructure and ports whilst also providing a forum for members to update the RFG on infrastructure developments within their own companies. It also provides the opportunity for members to identify investment and business opportunities and lobby for network improvements.

Lands and Terminals Group

The Lands and Terminals Group meets as required to discuss land use planning and land for terminals. There is a need to ensure adequate land availability for rail freight, and assisting local authorities in understanding the needs of rail freight and how this can be reflected in planning and transport policies.
