RFG Events

RFG works hard to maintain an ongoing diary of meetings and visits of relevance and benefit to members.

These are held regionally with a focus on national issues of local importance and in the capital where we hold our annual summer conference and our renowned Christmas Lunch.

Regional meetings always include a visit to a site or facility or relevance to the industry and in the past this has included Roadway Container Logistics new Birmingham International Freight Terminal at Birch Coppice and Fowey Harbour, including a trip out to sea on the Harbour Commissioners tugs ( see above ).

The RFG also arranges the joint All Party Parliamentary Rail Group/Rail Freight Group annual visit which in recent years has viewed the rail freight developments taking place in Canada, Hungary, China, Germany and Poland.

The All Party Parliamentary Rail Group/Rail Freight Group visit this year took place in Romania in September. For a full report go to http://www.rfg.org.uk/admin/editor/default.asp

All RFG events are open to both members and non-members. RFG members receive a special discount.
