The rail freight sector must work harder to meet customer expectations and not make excuses for service disruption, while at the same time encouraging increased collaboration, according to the outcome of the Rail Freight Group’s (RFG) latest logistics seminar.
The Rail Freight Group (RFG) has welcomed the findings of a new study by Network Rail into the freight sector that supports rail’s position as an important catalyst for growth in the UK.
The sale of High Speed 1 (HS1), announced this week by Government, should be an opportunity to promote rail freight on the route.
